SafeHome is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to preserving the unique low RF qualities of the radio quiet zone. We raise awareness of its importance for everyone. We specifically support individuals who are electrically sentient by providing healthy EMF solutions.
Wireless radiation has exploded over the past 25 years, leading to increased suffering now called EMR Syndrome. There is an urgent need to improve housing quality and availability within the 10-mile radius around the Green Bank Observatory (GBO) in Pocahontas County, WV.
We are uniquely experienced in creating safer living spaces to reduce suffering from EMR Syndrome, Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS), and mold sensitivity. Our members have years of hard-earned experience working in this community. We help those who are serious about making this area their home and contributing positively to its future.

West Virginia State Law 37A is a unique and valuable legal structure originally designed to protect the GBO telescopes from wireless interference and more recently for SETI research, and we endeavor to extend it to protect human life on Earth. There is no other place with a legal state law template enabling the enforcement of very low RF emission levels. Unfortunately, the GBO recently announced (Aug. 2025) that they will allow 2.4 GHz WiFi at the local school and surrounding area.
Now is the time to get fired up and join the effort to counteract the increasing pressure from big telecom, before more antennas or emitters are inevitably installed on power poles, water towers, and buildings in the area. There is NO other place with such a long history of monitoring to limit wireless usage, but this is now quickly eroding. If you have ever wanted to preserve a place for a healthy life with low wireless radiation, limited surveillance, and electronic intrusions, this is it, and now is the time.
Interested investors, please note that this area is also renowned for its breathtaking beauty, majestic Allegheny mountains, scenic valleys, and being the birthplace of eight rivers. This is a great place to raise healthy children with a connection to the great outdoors. Help us preserve it.
